The third installment of the “Local Karuta Tour” series will be a tour of the city's temples!
KIYOSE Hometown Karuta" was created by the KIYOSE Hometown Karuta Production Committee in 2015 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Kiyose City Museum of History. This year, we plan to visit three of the six temples (Entsuji Temple, Enpukuji Temple, and Tokoin Temple) featured in the karuta, listen to a talk by the temple's head priest, and view valuable cultural assets.
