During the special exhibition "Kiyose and Tuberculosis: The History, Present, and Future of Tuberculosis Treatment," from November 1 (Sat) to December 7 (Sun) (except Mondays, when the museum is closed on Mondays. Volunteers are needed to help at the reception desk from November 1 (Sat.) to December 7 (Sun.) (except Mondays, if Monday is a national holiday, the museum will be closed on the following Tuesday). Volunteer benefits include participation in the preview (Friday, October 31, 10:00~). We are looking forward to your help. We look forward to your cooperation. KIYOSE Hometown Karuta" was created by the KIYOSE Hometown Karuta Production Committee in 2015 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Kiyose City Museum of History. This year, we plan to visit three of the six temples (Entsuji Temple, Enpukuji Temple, and Tokoin Temple) featured in the karuta, listen to a talk by the temple's head priest, and view valuable cultural assets.

The "Kiyohiro" Friends Association was started on October 20, 1985 (at the inaugural meeting), one day before the opening of the museum (November 1, 1985), and will celebrate its 40th anniversary this October. We will have a mini exhibition booth for the 40th anniversary of the Friendship Association along with the 55th anniversary exhibition, so please visit the museum! We look forward to seeing you.
