The "Kiyohiro" Friends Association was started on October 20, 1985 (at the inaugural meeting), one day before the opening of the museum (November 1, 1985), and will celebrate its 40th anniversary this October. We will have a mini exhibition booth for the 40th anniversary of the Friendship Association along with the 55th anniversary exhibition, so please visit the museum! We look forward to seeing you.

The Kiyose City Local History Museum is participating for the first time in the “Museum Zodiac Collection Award 2026: Horse,” a competition in which collections related to the zodiac, held by museums across the country, compete through a voting system. Out of a total of 117 entries, the “Jikuchi Andon” from the Kiyose City Local History Museum received 157 votes and ranked 30th!!!
