A History of Kiyose in 90 Minutes Part 1: “The South Side of Kiyose City: The History of Matsuyama, Takeoka, and Umeen - Changes at the South Exit over 101 Years”.

Kiyose Station opened in 1924, followed by the hospital district and shopping district, which gave the area its current appearance. The following is an introduction to the changes in the town up to the present day.
