Venue: Local History Museum, 2nd Floor Gallery
Although Kiyose City is located close to the heart of Tokyo, it still retains a great deal of natural “satoyama” landscape, which is home to a wide variety of insects. This special exhibition will showcase Kiyose’s insects and their environment, featuring insect specimens donated to the museum and rare photographs of insects taken by the Kiyose Nature Conservation Society.

We’ll introduce the wide variety of insects found in Kiyose, organized into four themes.

"Kiyose Insect List" Now on Sale
"The Kiyose Insect Guide" features photographs of the wide variety of insects found in Kiyose City. From common species to extremely rare ones, this book offers an in-depth look at the insects that inhabit Kiyose City. It is available for 2,000 yen per copy.

Let's Go Look for Fall Insects!
We're going to look for fall insects at Kanayama Ryokuchi Park.

*In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the same time the following day.
