Local History Museum: First-Floor Exhibition Hall Contents
Artifacts excavated from the residence of the Ota clan—a hatamoto family from the early Edo period—at the Shimosuku Uchiyama Site (3-chome, Shimosuku, Kiyose City) have been designated as municipal cultural properties. These artifacts are extremely valuable as they represent a rare example of a hatamoto residence from the early Edo period.To commemorate the designation of these artifacts, this exhibition will feature ceramics unearthed from the Ota clan’s residence, as well as Edo-period ceramics from the Shimosuku Uchiyama Site.
