42nd Themed Exhibition: “Kiyose and Niiza: Our Neighbor, ‘Mt. Fuji’”

Sunday, October 9, 2026 – Sunday, September 27, 2026
We will be holding a traveling exhibition at the Kiyose City Local History Museum and the Niiza City Museum of History and Folklore (Rekishiterasu).
Venue: 1st Floor Exhibition Hall
Event Dates: Sunday, August 9, 2026, through Sunday, September 27, 2026
Closed: Mondays (Open on September 21), September 24 (Thursday)
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Focusing on the “Nakazato Fujizuka,” designated as a Tokyo Metropolitan Tangible Folk Cultural Property, we will explore the Fuji-kō movement in Kiyose.
The exhibition features materials on the “Nakazato Kōsha” and scale models of Fujizuka. It also introduces the “hidden Mount Fuji” sites in Kiyose that students have actually researched.
We are also distributing leaflets created by our interns. (Location: Theme Exhibition Corner and Counter)
Be sure to check it out!
