Who is “Maehara Kiyoshi-kun”? He’s a fairy based on the “perforated-rimmed pottery” unearthed at the Nojio-Maehara archaeological site in Kiyose City. During the special exhibition "Kiyose and Tuberculosis: The History, Present, and Future of Tuberculosis Treatment," from November 1 (Sat) to December 7 (Sun) (except Mondays, when the museum is closed on Mondays. Volunteers are needed to help at the reception desk from November 1 (Sat.) to December 7 (Sun.) (except Mondays, if Monday is a national holiday, the museum will be closed on the following Tuesday). Volunteer benefits include participation in the preview (Friday, October 31, 10:00~). We are looking forward to your help. We look forward to your cooperation. Earthenware Fairy Great Performance! Celebrating 35th place "Museum Character Award 2025".
Museum Character Awards 2025," featuring about 70 characters from museums, zoos, and other institutions across Japan. Kiyose City Museum's unofficial character "Kiyoshi Maehara" (Kiyoshi Maehara) ranked a whopping 35th! Despite this being her first challenge, she received 515 votes.
