　Kiyose City is home to an active Fuji-kō group (the Bushū Maruka Kō Tanashi-gumi Nakazato Kōsha), whose members still travel to Fujiyoshida City on the day of the mountain opening to climb Mount Fuji.Additionally, the Nakazato Fujizuka and the Fire Flower Festival, designated as Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Properties, carry on the long-standing traditions of the Fuji-kō. The purpose of this tour is to explore the worship of Mount Fuji in the area around Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture—a region closely associated with the Fuji-kō—and to deepen participants’ understanding of Kiyose’s Fuji-kō.

Day 1: Learning About the Fuji-kō in Kiyose—Main Sightseeing Spots

　8:30 a.m. Meet at the Kiyose City Local History Museum; check-in　

　8:40 a.m. — Nakazato's Fujizuka　

　11:45 a.m. Lunch

　1:00 p.m. The Otoshi-Togawa Family　

　1:40 p.m. The House of Fumiji Oshi

　2:40 p.m. Fujisan Museum [Lecture, self-guided tour]

　5:30 p.m. Accommodations: Yamagishi Ryokan (Overnight stay with breakfast and dinner included)

Day 2: Learning About the Worship of Mount Fuji—Main Sightseeing Spots

　9:00 a.m. — Departure from Yamagishi Ryokan

　9:10 a.m. Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine (Satomiya)

　10:00 a.m. Funatsu Tainai

　11:30 a.m. — Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Otsuka Hill

　1:00 p.m. Roadside Station Fujiyoshida

　(Lunch, Shopping, Mt. Fuji Radar Dome)

　5:00 p.m. — Disband at Kiyose City Hall and Kiyose Station

Cost Details

2 people per room; 1 adult (junior high school student or older): 20,000 yen

One person per room; 31,000 yen per adult (junior high school age and older)

Additional Information

*Rates include room and board for one person per night, dinner, breakfast, service charge and sales tax (10%), and lunch on the first day.

*Rooms will be assigned based on the number of participants.

*If you are traveling alone and are willing to share a room with other participants, the rate for one person is 20,000 yen.

*Regarding children’s rates: Children ages 7–11 pay 70% of the adult rate; children ages 3–6 pay 50% of the adult rate. Children sharing a bed with an adult are admitted free of charge, but if they require a meal, a meal fee of 2,200 yen will be charged. Additionally, if a futon is required, a futon fee will apply.

*We will provide details regarding payment of the travel fees at the time of booking.

*Please note that if you plan to visit the Funatsu Tainai and Mount Fuji Radar Dome on the second day, you will be responsible for paying the admission fee yourself.

*Please note that lunch on the second day is at your own expense.
